Rockets & Mines in Laal Masjid

Radicals in Laal Masjid, Islamabad, have fired a rocket at one of the armoured vehicles making advance towards the compound. And there are intelligence reports of installed land mines in the Laal Masjid complex.

Now, how the hell they managed to stock such deadly weapons while sitting just a kilometre away from our country’s Parliament, Supreme Court, Government Ministries, Islamabad’s Diplomatic Enclave and other high security buildings??

I would never feel secure on the streets of Islamabad again!

Dude, a rocket is NOT a WMD, and while I’m criticizing, WMD is Weapons…, no need for the extra ‘s’.
A rocket and a launcher can fit in a car, so they probably stocked them one at a time, doesn’t take a rocket scientist (pun intended) to figure that part out!
The buildings may be ‘high security’, but did they stock them in the Parliament?? No, they stocked them in their OWN building.
Everyone knows that Afghan fighters are born with a gun in their hand, so they probably get a rocket launcher on their 15th birthday.
No need to be so melodramatic!
    (Sorry, I’m bored).

Unlikely to be an RPG. The militants have grenades and molotov cocktails.

@Reallyvirtual: Thanks for the ‘s’ correction. As a person on the street, I’d consider a Rocket Launcher aimed at me as deadly as a nuclear weapon.

Pretty Simple: Dont worry too much about it. Issues like these keep popping up everywhere in the world, and what’s important is that we project a progressive and peace loving image of our country – which is the image of the majority.

On my way to home from office. My arbi (arabic) boss was giving a ride home day before yesterday, when she asked what is with the beard Man in Woman’s dress BurQQa. (Being Arabic, he emphesised hard on “Q”). Phir mainay kaha, Huq Ha, Baat Such hai, Magar Baat Hai Ruswayi Ki. Kahan tak suno gay, Kahan Tak Sunaoon. Izhaar bhi mushkil hai, chup reh bhi nahi saktay
majboor hain uff Allah, kuch keh bhi nahi saktay.

Kher kehtay kya, he already knew all about it! Though he is a pure muslim and practicing muslim, but he was like what kind of Jihad was this? – (Left me speechless and sad).

ji ji bilkul. Egyptians, Russians, Canadians, all in office made fun. Irani was saying, Ok Jihad is Jihad but he leaves saving his own skin. He should’ve been the last person to leave that place. And have to be the first to fight. Whats happening. (I was, speechless, again, in all its forms and mentifestations).
