Discovery in the Land of JOY

For family entertainment especially in summer holidays, there is nothing like Joy Land in the Fortress Stadium. There are lots of rides both for kids of all age group and elders that are well maintained but I just want to talk about the one, which really made me shiver, its Discovery (a new addition). Discovery makes you move through 180 degrees. The best part is when you are at 90 degree, a few inches above your seat and all your weight is on your shoulders. Before riding on discovery, don’t forget to give all your belongings specially that you carry in your pockets, your glasses, caps etc to your family members, who are going to watch you go up, a must ride for thrill lovers.

I happened to be at Iqbal Book Corner and there I found this amazing offer ….so if you are planning a family trip there and you want to save as well, you can get the band for rupees 75.

@TT: When you will ride discovery and at ground, you will be seeing lighter side, when you will be at 90 degree of discovery but not moving an inch due to power failure hang up there for about an hour or so …thats the ugly side.

  14. TREETOP (unregistered) on July 30th, 2007 @ 5:56 am

Or, maybe there is a gain.Ego writes and vanity cashes it.

  15. Opee (unregistered) on July 30th, 2007 @ 10:14 am

    Ego, is always a loss!

  16. Pretty Simple (unregistered) on July 30th, 2007 @ 12:43 pm

aaj ka sawal, what is the relation of Discovery with ego? :|

  17. TREETOP (unregistered) on July 30th, 2007 @ 2:55 pm

If it is an honest ? then the answer is,very strong relation. But the question arises.is this a positive or negative relation?
You can give logical arguments for either side.It all depends upon the traits of an individual. All the great discoverers had huge egos.I will classify the egos in two catagories.
Refined and enlightened ones, and crude and primitive ones…..THE BONFIRES OF VANITY is a good read.
