Lahore Lahore Aye…

Sa’day Laa’ore Di Shaan Nirali..

Ballay ballay, Ho Khalo Daee Bhallay
Ho ballay ballay, ni Kha Lo Dahi Bhallay
Jinnay L’ore naee Tak’ya Jam’ya naee
Ho Jinnay L’ore naee Tak’ya Jam’ya naee

Funny, hilarious, unusual, amusing, comical, humorous, laughable, absurd, amusing, cheerful, enjoyable and ridiculous video. Though I just don’t adore the video itself, lyrics are probably better off instead. Also, the way he dances like crazy on the streets of London, making funny movements with and around Britons. But this guy named Tariq Tafoo (aka Tariq Tafu) has given the words and melody to the famous saying:

“Lahore Lahore Hai!”

This is one ending phrase to any discussion about Lahore. Karachites would always ask, “Why do you always end up a discussion by saying this phrase: Lahore Lahore Hai? Don’t you have any better thing to say or to conclude?” Well, I think we don’t! But the truth is, that this guy has pushed Karachites to make up a song for their own city as well. I.e. Karachi Hai Karachi Hai, is one of the inspirations that further began a round of competition among other cities of Pakistan as well. Now, we have ended up hearing more of such songs by different people praising their cities.

I don’t love this video, and he could make a better one instead too. But Tariq Tafoo is a milestone!

‘nJoYyyYYyYyyYyyyYYy his video:
