Jashan-e-Azadi: Celebrating the Spirit of Independence (Part-1)
Green flags, roadside stalls, heart-shaped-flag badges, excited kids buying jhandian (flag buntings) and milli naghmay (National songs) on car stereos. These are some but not all of the ways we celebrate our beloved country’s birthday.
It definitely is the best time to roam on city roads and feel the spirit of freedom among common people. And everyone would agree that despite all odds, we still love our country and are very proud to be Pakistanis…
Flags of all sizes hovering over Link Road, Model Town
How can we forget our Ghauris and Shaheens! :)
i cant wait to see what people will do tomorrow for 14th Aug. every year people go out of thier way to celebrate Pkaistan’s birthday. decorate houses, fire works etc. it is the best day to roam around the country and see the unity filled amongst the hearts of all pakistanis.
