Girls Outshine Boys – Yet Again!
The girls have outshone their male compatriots once again in the Intermediate results declared by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE-Lahore) yesterday. A student of LCWU even managed a whopping record score of 1019 out of 1100. That is an amazing achievement!
For all those who successfully cleared the exams, please accept heartiest congratulations from all of us here at LMB… and for those who fell short, please don’t lose hope, work even harder next time and you’ll be basking in success as well InshaAllah!

No matter what they do, it is not easy for women to get rightful recognition on the basis of their skills and talent. How many of these girls, topping exams and breaking records on the way, will be allowed to utilze their full potentials? Their aspirations and career goals will soon end in the ashes of cultural compulsions, religious dictats, narrowness of the society, familial pressures, rampanyt sexual harrassment and unequal opportunity. A woman has to jump twice as high as a man in our country to be noticed as an individual person on her own, whose recognition is not because of her father, brother, son or husband.
Good on you, girls. Keep chipping away at social stigmas with your hard work and talent.
