Why and how?
She has been accused of fraud worth billions. Her husband is still known as Mr. 10% and his repercussion on business are still felt even in the urban centers of this beautiful country.
She is innocent until proven guilty.
But now I hear there will be no trial. The cabinet has allowed her cases to be ‘shelfed’. How the hell can they do that? The cabinet was not wronged, the people of this country, the taxpayers and the workers, they were wronged. If they decide to ‘forgive’ her, so be it. But the cabinet? Those puppets? Who are they?
I am not in tune with the politics of this country, so I can not go on and use just my armchair research to make my complains, but this is all unfortunate.
PPP is still considered to have a large mandate. I have yet to meet someone supporting anyone other than Imran Khan. Now this is funny almost: I have not met anyone, between the age of 18 and 30, that support anyone other than Imran Khan. If he or she doesn’t support Imran Khan, then they have decided that they will support no one. But anyone with a ‘votable’ opinion, he or she supports Imran Khan. How right (or wrong) am I here??

If the people decide not to forgive her, they won’t vote for her. That’s the problem with our public…they forget and forgive too quickly, and are easily lead astray, because they’re so emotional. She doesn’t deserve to come back…she sucked the blood out of this country. Sad days coming up people. Pray for the safety and prosperity of Pakistan, specially in the remaining days of Ramadan.

Every politician has been accused of something, actually a lot. What is different about benazir? If you accept others why not BB?

Unlike BB Imran Khan don’t have national vote bank. IF he is popular in Punjab then he should stand for Punjab Assembly and there might be a chance he’ll end up as CM. BTW Imran is sitting with Mullahs, what guarantee you have they’ll not turn Lahore into another Peshawar. Like or not but PPPP still the largest Party in the nation. About looting I guess right now Army tops the list. But then who can challenge them.

    Any Lahori out there,

In all elections PPP able to secure lot of votes from Punjab, what’s the situation right now? As Nawaz’s half party is with the government and all.

Faisal: When was the last free and fair election held in Pakistan? Do you think that the will of people is reflected through election process? Plus, what do you think about rural not illetrate class of our society? My kaam wali is very happy that election is coming and she will go to her village where her vote will give Rs. 5000 and in addition she will get excellent food for atleast a week.
