All private and international news channels have been turned off. No bbc cnn or alzaeera.
Only working channels are entertainment and PTV. Folks at PTV are living in room without any door or windows cuz they seem to be unaware of the situation going around them. Currently showing promos for their soaps, national songs, silly clips. Gee i really wanna know what the next episode of ‘kisaan time’ is going to talk about…

I’m watching Geo News as I write. The SOB has ordered mobile phone companies to jam mobile phones in major cities – it has already started happening in Islamabad. Internet is also likely to go down. I hope and pray that in all of this fiasco, someone blows up that mofo crook Pervert Musharraf!

Aaj TV has been completely blocked out now… including its satellite transmission. I think they were uplinking from Pakistan unlike Dubai based channels.

There are now news reports internationally that BB has landed and is confined to her jet on the tarmac in Karachi. These reports don’t come from reliable news sources yet.

    Benazir returns home, stays quiet.

Minutes before her arrival, I drove through Clifton upto Bilawal House and then towards Sea View. Lots of traffic police and few regular police vans for her security.

This will give legitimicy to the terrorists. If Musharraf can kick all constitution and laws on the basis of gun, why cant they?

If it were some political leader who realy beleived that judiciacary is interfering, he/she would have addressed the nation and probably announced elections or resigned to come back with more political power, or something like that. But to do away with the whole constituion. But ofcourse, an army man doesnt think like that. He beleives once he is gone he will never come back.

Aitazaz and his creed have equal responsibility for this. What on earth were they thinking? When your enemy is weak, that is the best time to talk him out and get most. But they wanted his head immediately. Why on earth , when he was going to remove uniform, hold elections in 3 months, judiciary was relatively powerful, was there a need to start raising these fine constitutional points and do away with the whole system. True, musharraf was exposed. But at what cost?

Nobody has power in this world because of some peice of paper, it is always politics which determines who has the power. And this is true for whole world. But these guys were thinking God knows what?

In any case this is worst thing that could happen to Pakistan. We are 10 years back now.

I just cannot understand how would anyone in their right mind find a way and reason to justify a complete usurping of their most fundamental rights.

If anyone was paying attention, Musharraf’s entire address was self-contradictory and based upon lies and rhetoric. The attack on Supreme Court is a direct attack our most fundamental and cherished rights as Pakistanis.

Musharraf has committed High Treason by suspending the Constitution and he should be tried for treason under the article 6 of the Constitution of Pakistan. There is absolutely no logical, moral, and ethical justification of his actions. The Supreme Court of Pakistan has already declared the PCO unconstitutional.

We must mobilize against dictatorship. This is a great opportunity for the entire nation to come together and protest against this attack on the fundamental rights of average Pakistanis.

Musharraf and his allies think that they are forver. Sooner or later every body dies, no body lives. every body has to see end, what will they answer on the day of judjment. How many people will he kill, how many souls will he ruin? Its turns to us now that we should all come out and take what is rightfully ours. if not for us, then at least for our coming generations. Even Allah says, fighting against even Evil through hands has more rewards and we do not have other chance for getting our freedom back. PLEASE come out and fight, not with suicide bombing.. but with our unity and faith against evil. May Allah gives the right and deserved people the freedom, success and faith. Ameen. Pakistan Zindbad. Qaid-e-azam paindabad.
