It’s time!

Likely to worsen, OMG! There’s more to come, Oh Lord! Because According to Daily Times, the power crises in our beloved country is likely to worsen.

Power crises for the past few weeks, accompanied by Sui-gas, flour sugar, water crises has been so severe that it suggets our impending return to a stone age way-of-life. Prices of numerous products have soared to levels never seen before. Since with no lights, emergency lights are being used so they have increased their prices from eleven hundred rupees to fifteen hundred each in days. Shopkeepers have been warned of the load-shedding from 6:30 to 8:30 in the night. In Model Town alone light goes out after every two hours for a half an hour and sometimes even more than that. There are many areas of old city which are often without any electricity, gas or water for entire day in this extremely cold weather. There have been difficult situations since the creation of Pakistan but I don’t think ever before so many crises have hit us in such quick succession.

And they are saying that this situation is likely to wosen. Man, i don’t even want to imagine it. May Allah help us resolve this issue before it worsens, ameen! So everbody take out your Aladdin’s lamp and make a wish!
It’s “the” right time.

May BB’s soul rest in peace who provided whatever little power we have right now. Amazed at the planning of Musharraf’s 8 year govt for not introducing a single power plant project ( or anyother project of any relavance for that matter).

    nuclear power plants are expensive.

we are going the right way with dams, im sure load shedding is short term and will be gone with the completion of basher and kalabagh dam, and other dams under construction

These are the real issues and problems facing this country and affecting the common man. I see no political party coming up with an strategy to increase power production, make our agriculture more efficient and modern. Indeed there is growth, now more people than ever can afford AC’s and other electrical appliances. However, there is yet to be a consensus on Kalabagh Dam, Whereas, Bhasha dam is I believe under construction. Yes, IPP’s credit goes to the then PPP govt, however mercy the dealings were. New generation capacity will be available by 2010, till then we will have to make do.

So, instead of movement mongering and entangling our govt in new law and order situations, we should all focus on such issues because they are directly related to work and work means progress. Our political parties instead of just criticising Mush, America and justifying extremist acts should work to develop consensus among the people, so that major projects could be under taken. Indeed before LaL Masjid, Kalabagh Dam & Hudood Ordinance were the topics put up for public debate, but since then we have seen a down ward slide, and an urgency to commit Harra kirri not only by the extremists but also the so called civil society.

Its high time, that common sense should prevail and we concentrate our energies towards building and pressurize our govt on development issues and poverty aleviation rather than creating situations which will ultimately culminate in destruction. What we cannot afford is the discontinuation of economic progress, whether it be by power crises or political upheaval.

Its not a time of Silence… At least BB knew that..

Political Parties, Civil Societies should know what their role now, otherwise they will fail again..

    1. Keep people inform and motivated what Musharaf regiem/PML(Q) has done to this country.

    a) Akbar Bugti Murder (they managed to enflame baluchistan…)
    b) NWFP Bombardments/Killings in Tribals to weaken the defence line of pakistan (managed to enflame NWFP)
    c) LAL Masjid Attack (they managed to enflame Relegious Defence Line of Pakistan)
    d) Benazir Kiling (they managed to destrust, enflame and destabilize the People of Pakistan)
    e) Wheat Scandal (same objective and Protected Hoarders, Profitiers of PML(Q))
    f) Sugar Scandal (same objective and Protected Hoarders, Profitiers of PML(Q))
    g) Steel Mills,HBL and other privatisation frauds (same objective and Protected fraudelents, Profitiers of PML(Q))
    e) Stocks Mafia (Protected Shaukat Aziz and Its Gang and Musharraf Friends of PML(Q))
    f) Killing of judiciary…

REMIND THE PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN ALL THE ABOVE AGAIN AND AGAIN,

IN EVERY RALLY, MEETING DURING ELECTIONS..

IN ALL INTERVIEWS, TALKSHOWS IN MEDIA … AGAIN AND AGAIN.

    SO NOBODY SHOULD FORGET THESE…

THIS IS THE DUTY FOR EVERYONE.. SO THAT NOBODY VOTE THEM IN ELECTION..

SO THAT PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN UNITED AGAINST THIS REGIEM FOR BETTERMENT OF PAKISTAN AND PROTECTING PAKISTAN FROM THESE FOOLS, AGENTS OF CIA, MOSAD AND GORBACHAUFS OF TODAY FOR PAKISTAN.

Bugti, a misguided soul. Balochi’s are doing way better without him.

NWFP Bombardments/Killings the outsiders resided in the borderline, doing smuggling of kids, looted vehicles, transferring heroine, weapons, is justified if we help army carry it on prosporously rather than standing against being opportunists.

LAL Masjid Attack was against a wrong portrayal of ideology. Unfair arms-keeping within a mosque and a very Insensitive way of saving their own skin with immature Burqa escape, has proven it!

Benazir Kiling, brutal but fate. Investigation will prove it. But yes, suicide attacks are never justifiable.

Wheat Scandal – hypes up and happens in almost every government in the past.

Sugar Scandal – – hypes up and happens in almost every government in the past. Happened very well during Nawaz Sharif’s Government as well.

Steel Mills, HBL and other privatisation frauds – True… but again, privatisation frauds happened at their verge during Monsieur 10% and NS era as well!!

Stocks Mafia – Do you know KSE is the biggest mover in world’s Stock Exchanges these days? KSE 100 index from 4000 has reached upto 14000. Mafia of any capacity in WHOLE WORLD cannot sustain 2 years of growth if you continuously want to call it a self-created hype… Let me give you a news that its not a hype that is self-created in all its forms and menifestations.

Killing of judiciary… Are you referring it to the NS ghunda raid at Supreme Court? Yep both, Civilian and Army raids against judiciary are not justified. Army only is not the culprit. Its whole of us, as a Nation!
