Citizens pay tribute to the Policemen

People from different walks of life gathered at the site near GPO Chowk on the Mall where ‘the blast’ killed at least 20 policemen last week. Words of remembrance were noted down while candles of hope were lit as evening chill started to take charge.

Everyone paid tribute to the brave policemen, and colleagues presented a Guard of Honor in their memory.

Let’s wish better times are not too far away…

Its sad that so many lives are gone in Musharraf Mad Game.

isn’t it correct that.. Police Force was standing there for Baton Charging, Tear Gassing the Lawyers like beting animals.

can anybody answer this… who is using these inocents, un-educated police walas for beating Educated Community of Lawyers…

The same police would be beating the hell out of citizens, civil society and lawyers in a few days time.

You guys are forgetting one small thing, its not a mad game but the country is actually in a state of war since Lal Masjid. Come out of denial and let the security forces do their job, there is no need to drag yourself and the poor souls on the streets presenting an opportunity to the terrorists to create mayhem. For now make do with the liberties you have, don’t create nuisance and stand firm against the evil that has infiltrated our mountains.

This is the first time that I see society acknowledging the sacrifices made by the boys from the front lines, they will need more of this kind of support to defeat the enemy. In situation like these moral is everything and remember the civil liberties you had now, even after emergency, are far more than this nation ever had in its history, so don’t be impatient and don’t let the impatient few drag this country towards chaos.

Pakistanis need to call terrorists as “terrorist” and let the security forces do their job.

Lal masjid wackos and their Taliban friends are of no use to anyone.
