‘We all scream for …Icecream’parlours in DHA

On a quest, yes a quest not an errand, for a color photocopier, yours truly drove up to the market near LUMS in Defense Housing Authority earlier this evening. What did I spy?

Three, count’em three, ice cream parlours within walking distance of each other. There is Hot Spot, thats an oldie, then I noticed Gelato Affair straight across the road, and Marble Stone Creamery sitting cozy next to Hot Spot. No prizes for guessing that I am an ice-cream enthusiast, and wanted to share this lil peace of geographical heaven for our readers the next time they are in DHA. (By the way, I adore vanilla icecream with mint chocs mixed in, but what is your favorite flavor and where do you go for it in Lahore?)

Bon Appetit!

i love the peanut butter chocolate ice cream from marble stones on mm alam. i tell them everytime to use the entire peanut butter cup to mash into my ice cream, but they are so ‘kanjoos’ and use only 1/2 a cup! lol!

Marble Stone is a total rip off and is currently being sued by the original company. Gelato was closed the day after Karachi riots stating that they couldnt receive their items which are sent from karachi which means that Hot Spot is the only one that is still true to the phrase HOME MADE. and if you count Jammin Java, then there are four Supposedly "home made" ice cream sellers out of which one is a leader and the rest are followers. you know which is which for sure! Happy eating
