Lufthansa Plans to Cease Operation in Pakistan

This sucks, but Lufthansa once again has decided to cease its operation in Pakistan. I was quite thrilled when Lufthansa resumed its service to Karachi last year and also included Lahore as an additional destination. However, service to Karachi was discontinued few months after resumption and now Lahore is also being let go. Sad news for Pakistan aviation industry, which unfortunately also reflects the state of our economy :(

or maybe because they charged more than anyone other flight into lahore. The idea was great the price was just not feasible for enough people.

If an airline doesn’t provide entertainment then that is a big negative factor – the airline wanted more money for less service! Surely, in the arena of competition, that is a non-starter.

Lufthansa’s Lahore-Frankfurt connection wasn’t that bad considering the number of destinations you can travel from using the airline’s Frankfurt transit.

    Sad news indeed!

What happened to Virgin Atlantic’s plans of starting Pakistan operations??
