Lahore strikes back at the terrorists!

Elite Police Celebrating Win - Source: BBC News - Suggested by Shakeel Ahmad
In Lahore this morning, three different police facilities were attacked by well-trained and well-equipped terrorists. The incidents at FIA building, Manawan Police Academy and Bedian Elite Force Training Facility left at least 30 people dead including all the attackers, policemen and some civilians. Two of the targets, the FIA building and Manawan Police Training Academy have been hit by terrorists earlier as well. Although the new wave of attacks was serious, however, the response of security agencies and the police has shown an upgraded level of strike-back action.
Yes, we are living in insecure times and when a full-fledged war is being raged against these mug-heads, they are sure to strike back. What makes all Pakistanis proud is the sacrifice of life that our soldiers and policemen are making to fight terrorism and to protect common citizens like you and me.
We should pray for these brave sons of the soil and help them by providing any information that we are able to gather against terrorists or suspicious activities around our cities and neighborhoods.
To all the policemen who lost their life today in Lahore and Kohat; every Lahori and Pakistani salutes you!
Great work!

My prayers to the policemen, soldiers and innocent bystanders who have lost their lives at the hand of the barbarians.
and for these cowards who attacked, May Allah burn them in eternal hell fire.
Quite True !!!!
Long Live Pakistan !!!
You make it sound like a cricket match – the police celebrating a ‘win’ when there are dead people around them? It is not a win when the people who are supposed to protect the country are can barely defend themselves.
Two of the places attacked had been targets before and yet these attacks were not prevented?
This is not ‘striking back’ – this is merely reacting!
Hello from Russia!
Can I quote a post in your blog with the link to you?
@anon: You make it sound like it’s a child play to prevent such attacks… Do you really have any solid recommendations on how these attacks could have been prevented?? It only depends on your perception of the situation. If these attackers would not have been killed by the security forces swiftly, they would either have killed more innocent people or just have had escaped. It’s not that easy my friend. Requires a lion’s heart to be a policeman or a soldier on the front line…
@Polprav: Sure, you can!
They could have started by at least installing gates to regulate entry to the FIA compound!
original-anon:
probably you are not on Ground in Lahore. Purpose of these attacks is not killing some people … its demoralizing and spreading terror … Its a WAR and we should be ready for some sacrifices , the best thing we can do is to keep our support with security forces, keeping our morals higher than ever. Its the only way we can win and inshAllah we’ll win this war.
Long Live Pakistan.
The citizens of the country, namely us, need to play a part too… we need to start thinking beyond ourselves and help our security forces in securing our country from these twisted elements that are causing so much destruction. We can begin by starting neighbourhood watch programs and sharing suspicious activity with the local thana or Citizens Police Liaison Committee (http://www.cplc.org.pk/)…
@original-anon: Yes, you don’t seem to be on ground. There were security gates and security arrangements. However, there is no stopping a ‘suicide’ bomber from doing what he has come for; killing!
@binary-zero: We will InshaAllah! :)
@Ali: I strongly back your suggestion and have voiced something alike in the post as well…
